    Fruits Bats Conservation Program

With old trees being felled all over the state of Orissa over the last many decades, Fruit Bats numbers have gone down drastically in the wilds and countryside. Coupled with threats from poaching these bats are almost on the verge of decimation in many districts in the state. The organization has embarked on this program since 2004 and has undertaken surveys to ascertain their numbers and also to enlist the cooperation of local communities in conserving them.
